Hookah charcoal cube size: 25, 26 or 27 mm

Hookah charcoal cube size: 25, 26 or 27 mm

The size of a coconut charcoal cube is not a detail. It decides how much heat the bowl gets, how long the session lasts and how many cubes to use. Let’s break down the popular sizes.

What the choice depends on

Three factors:

  1. Bowl volume. A large bowl needs more heat — a bigger cube or more of them.
  2. Pack style. A dense pack likes steady, larger heat.
  3. Session length. A bigger cube burns longer — fewer changes.

25 mm

The universal, best-selling size. A balance of heat and burn time. Fits most bowls and styles — the safe choice for a lounge and retail.

26 mm

Slightly larger: more heat and lasts longer. Handy for large bowls and dense packs, when you need stable heat without frequent swaps.

27 mm

Larger still — maximum heat and time. Great for big bowls and heat-hungry mixes. Available in IZZY COCO export shipments.

What to choose

  • Universal, most jobs → 25 mm
  • Large bowls, dense packing, longer sessions → 26–27 mm

Many venues keep two sizes and match them to the bowl and the guest’s request.
